Michael Morgan cue by Mike Miller

Ebony and Burl 8 points with ivory and MOP inlays, ivory ferrules, faux ivory joint and the butt plate from a museum.
The wrap is real lizard belly and the cue comes with the matching extension.

I know that most of you have never heard of Michael Morgan cues so I will tell you something about them and about Michael.
He was building amazing cues for years and they don't only look nice but they play fantastic too. Wasn't building many cues per year so they are hard to get.
You don't see them for sale much often and this is for a reason. Who had a chance to try them out and see them in person know what I am talking about. His shaft wood is one of the best in business and his workmanship is second to none. His cues have stiff hit to them and are built by hands old fashioned way, without any CNC.

About Mike

Michael Miller restored antique pool tables many years ago in the Greater New York Area for Jackie Grimaldi. It was then that he became acquainted with cue makers such as George Balabushka and Eugene Balner of Palmer.
As a teenager , he often watched Eugene Balner work. Later, Michael owned a pool room and became a fairly good player.

Beside being a hell of the cue maker Mike was a passionate fisherman. Before started building cues he made fishing rods and some friends call him Captain Mike because he used to run charter fishing boat.
But the most important, he and his wife Sandra are great people and can be nothing but fortunate that I had an opportunity to meet them and to get the cues from him.

Enjoy the pics!😁

RIP Mike
