Ned Morris

Today I received this baby!๐Ÿ˜
I can't say how anxious I was to get this cue and to hold it in my hands!๐Ÿ˜
Ned and I was working on the design and it turned out absolutely gorgeous!๐Ÿ˜
Before I say a few things about the cue I would like to thank Ned Morris for his attitude and for treating me more as a friend than as a customer no matter I find him a friend. The way he treats customers in general is amazing and you can't ask for more. He is not one of those who just want to finish and deliver the cue. He cares all the way through about your wishes, about you and wants to meet all your expectations and goes even further.
As I mentioned before, if this cue would arrived cracked, damaged with significant roll to it, it would still be one of my favorite cues and wouldn't sell it no matter how great offer I would have.
The workmanship is perfect and everything is done by hands. Ned doesn't use CNC.
The woods are Ebony and Tulipwood and inlays are MOP, Whale Bones.
Joint and the collars on the shafts are Moose Antler. Shafts are out of solid Maple with Olivewood inserts and are 13 mm. The pin is 3/8x10.
Matching joint protectors are engraved with his logo and this is the first cue in which this logo was used!๐Ÿ˜
Thank you Ned very much for this beauty, for everything in general and for being Ned.....true friend and a master cue maker!๐Ÿ˜

Ned is one of those Cue-Makers that flies under the radar IMO. Reminds me a lot of Paul Dayton. Always hear/heard great things about both. ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Yes, there is much similarity between them two. Cues from both of them.play fantastic and their workmanship is outstanding.
Ned does all work without CNC. Never used it in his life.

Martin, aka jazznpool had a Ned Morris Merry Widow made from a spectacular piece of Camatillo. I cannot tell you how many times I nearly bought that cue. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Paul's passing was a shame. A friend of mine bought some of Paul's shaft wood years ago. Paul told him they were his "B" grade. I almost sh!t my pants when I examined those shafts. If those were what Paul considered "B" grade, I can only imagine what the "A" stuff looked like. ๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿ‘

Yes, Paul's shaft wood was probably the best shaft woods that I have seen. In all cues that I have from him the shaft wood is extraordinary.
You can see here.
