Ott cue by Terry and Micah Ott
So, i would love to give huge compliments to Ott Custom Cues for their work. For some time i've seen their work and cues they build but never had any. All those cues look awesome and the work seems to be so clean so i decided to order 2 cues from them and later on one 2 to see them in person and to try them. So, they finished me first 2 cues and i've got them.
Well, not any of those photos they post but nor these ones will do them justice. Workmanship is fantastic. They do absolutely amazing job. Clear coat is like a glass, point and veneer work perfect and leather work highly precise. Attention for details is something what they care for too so the j/ps rings are aligned with the cue perfectly.
Then i tried how do they play and they play great, really great with medium stiff hit to them, not much deflection but high predicatability and consistency. Balance is great so you have that natural feeling right away and know immediately at what spot at the cue to place your playing hand.
When i say not much deflection i am referring to their standard Maple shafts because this is what i play with since i am not a fan of ld shafts.
And then, although i met Terry and Micah not long ago i have feeling i know them for years and like we did many deals and projects before this. Actually i already find them friends. They are amazingly nice, polite, responsive and customer oriented so you are informed and updated on every step and phase. They indeed made this experience wonderful and special.
