2007 South West #306 (ALVES/GAB)
Cue was purchased around 2014 in excellent used condition. It has been my regular playing cue for a couple of years and easily my favorite Goncalo Alves nose South West.
Cue features a very nicely toned figured Goncalo Alves forearm with six rare gabon ebony points. Triple laminates (white/blue/black). Alves buttsleeve. SW signature rings at position A,B & F. Simple veneer rings on C, D & E. Black w/ brown speckles irish linen wrap. Has the older rare Aegis (LBM) ferrule SW no longer uses.
Both shafts have Thoroughbred tip installed.
3/8x11 SW Brass Pin, with cactus logo and 07-#306 engraved into pin.
Comes w/ 1B2S matching scrimshaw cactus joint protectors. Matching JPs was re-ordered in 2017-ish and SW chose a really nicely matching wood that fits the cue’s forearm perfectly.

Butt: 16.12oz
Shaft 1: 3.59oz (13.05mm)
Shaft 2: 3.57oz (13.11mm)
Condition:
Everything on this cue is all original, except for the tips and linen wrap.
Both shafts have signs of use but cleaned regularly and well-maintained.
Butt is in good used condition, has some signs of use, a few small dents on the buttsleeve from play (nothing obvious that my camera could take).
