Anyone who loves custom cues has there favorite cuemakers. For along time I've wanted a cue that had different traits in it that other makers have in there's. Its not about copying there cues or style but to honor there artistic genius an master craftsmanship. So lets just say if u could design a cue using the work from 5 different cuemakers, who would they be an what correctoristics would be in ur cue with details. An who would u have build ur cue?.....my cue would be a wrapless full splice ebony butt Birdseye maple forearm with titlist color veeners by john davis. It would have ring work an ivory joint done by ed prewitt, inlay work an shaft by Keith josey, butt cap by Perry Weston, an all brought together in the simple but genius execution by Paul mottey. An if I could pick a cuemaker to make this stick of my dreams come true it would be the great ron Haley. So ron if u read this an think its a great idea for a cue an want to fit me in ur 10 year waiting list an make the cue for me out of the kindness of ur heart u can contact ur friend an student an my boss mark Smith lol. So let me know yalls dream cue guys.

If I was going to get a cue to play with and I had to have five different cuemakers do the various work I think I would choose the following.
First I would have Danny Tibbitts build the 4 points with veneers forearm.
Second I would have Chris Hightower assemble the entire butt and build one regular super tight grain maple shaft. (I am biased on how I want the cue to play)
Third I would have OB Cues build another shaft.
Fourth I would have Thomas Wayne inlay inside and between the points, handle, butt sleeve and rings with his awesome Celtic style work.
And fifth I would have Andy Gilbert clear coat finish the cue.

I feel this cue would have some of the best of in every aspect. You could put other cuemakers in any category, but that is probably how I would do it if my dream cuemakers cue combination could be done.
