If you are measuring in pounds, well that's just scary.
Most folks try to get down to 1/10ths of an ounce, that's fractions of sixteenths of what you are measuring, converted of course (big ups to dosed for that tough one...).

scale is certified by the state every year. I feel very confidant that it is accurate.
still have the shaft,it is still .25 lbs or for those at home 4 ounces
