Have a chance to buy this of an old timer in my league. Not sure of value. It was made by Gus for Palmer in 78'. Full 8 pointer with MOP dots. Has letter of authenticity and bill of sale from 78. Thing is mint.

It's been a few years, but I watched an 8 point palmer go for $900 on eBay. Gus made the forearm, but the cue is a palmer. Gus sold forearms to various builders, Dale Patten is one that comes to mind. His cues don't command much despite the pedigree of parts. Palmers go for more and a Gus forearm adds some value. I'd say $1500 to $2000, but that may be high. The cue market peaked a few years ago.
