On October 7 through 10, 2004 The Midwest Expo/Open will host the first ever APA Illinois State Singles Tournament. This event is OPEN to all registered APA players Nationwide and Canada. The fields are limited at this time but can be opened to a larger amount depending on the response.

This tournament is a 100% Payback and will be played on 38 Diamond Smart Tables. In addition, there will be mini tournaments and other APA associated events at this show.

The host hotel is Pheasant Run Resort and Spa in St. Charles, IL. The rooms nights start at $99.00 per night plus taxes and will sell out quickly. Mention Midwest Expo Pool Tournament when booking reservations for pool tournament discount.

Please go to www.pooltournaments.net and click on the Midwest Expo/Open site for all of the venue information. APA information is listed on the left side of the menu selection. There are other events that are not APA at this event.

Last year premiered the Midwest Expo/Open with over 6000 players, spectators and exhibitors at this event. There will be 130 Diamond Smart Pool Tables with 24 hour non stop ACTION,ACTION,ACTION at this event, with all venues possible in just about every category of pool.
 
sounds really good, when will something like this hit long island new york? we need a big huge 8-ball tournament around these parts.

I quoted that statement from their post. I would take that as Open to anyone with an APA card.......
