19.5oz lucasi sneaky pete, how do i make it an 18oz?

hi, everyone.

i purchased a 19oz lucasi lz2000 sneaky pete for my GF and the sticker showed 19oz. i put it on a digital scale today and it measured 19.5.....

i took out the 1oz bolt in there and it came out to be 18.5 with the factory stock "0 flexpoint uniloc 12.75 shaft"

my goal is to try to make it an 18oz and my question is......


if i switch it out for a predator Z or Z2 shaft (11.75) and shave off the bolt to make it a 0.5 oz instead of a 1oz, do you think it will be around the 18oz weight?

First take the weight bolt out and leave it out. Next take it to a cuemaker to drill out some of the butt. Then you can put the butt cap back on. Or if you haven't used it yet just send it back for a replacement of a lighter cue. Also this is in the wrong section. It should be in the "ask the cuemaker" section.
