This cue is not a conversion. It is a refinish of the original. The new matching shaft was made by Andy Gilbert. The weight bolt is the only non original piece.(Chrome not Brass). Asking $2250 shipped CONUS.
All white is ivory. Rolls perfectly apart and together.

Butt 27.75" 17.8oz thick handle
Original shaft 28.25" 10.85mm 4.2oz
New shaft 29" 5.1oz 13mm

Can you post close-ups of the maple nose? I bet it is of the highest old growth quality. Nice cue, great veneers

Wow, amazing cue and condition for it's age. Are there any signs of wear and tear or distress in the wood?

None. Tiny chips in the ivory collar. Barely noticeable. Two lines under the finish.

I considered buying this cue a little while back from a full disclosure seller. By the lines under the finish that your flash seems to have found, are you referring to the crack in the forearm? I believe I still have one of the original photos here, just wanted to make sure we were talking about the same cue:

I tried to capture those lines in the previous pic as best as I could. They are under the finish. Anyone not satisfied with this cue could return it to me without question.
