1950's Brunswick Anniversary Value?

Just curious what the board thought a 1950's (laminate rails) 9 foot Anniversary is worth? From 1-10, its probably a 7. All aluminum is intact, just needs a good polishing.

I have owned it for several years, and somebody wants to buy it from me. I really do not want to sell it, but would be tempted to put the proceeds towards a Gold Crown, Diamond or Gabriel table.

Any thought of the value, or future value if I held on to it?

Thanks

I can't take a guess but it being a Brunswick (though my personal bias towards them is not fond) you can get more out of it than it is worth. Just because of the name.

I'm a table mechanic and move tables all of the time. Especially for people buying from Private Individuals. And the prices I have seen people pay for complete peices of junk is mind boggling. I saw someone who paid $4,000 for just a Leisure Bay 9' table. A USED Leisure Bay table. That price was also from a friend of theirs.

I say throw some crazy price out there. And see who bites. If you charge them enough offer to pay for the move job just so they think they are getting a better deal.

As for Value going up. Value never really goes up unless it is an Antique T-rail in pefect inpecable condition.

Thats strange, I have talked to a few different restortation companies and these tables are pushing $8000 on the market totally refinished. Seems like the price has been going up over the last 10 years.

Brunswick anniversary

If everything is in tact and good playing shape, the table should be worth maybe $2500. If restored, the table should fetch about $5000. I have restored and sold many anniversary tables in both conditions. Barry
