Here's some details:

Cue was made in either '78 or '79 (an e-mail from Mr. Stroud verified this).
Birdseye maple with 4 ebony points.
Ebony buttsleeve.
Delrin (I think?) buttcap with the "JW" logo (the W is sideways).
5/16x14 stainless steel piloted joint.
Classic maple ringwork at A and B.
One shaft at right around 13mm with an almost brand new tip and the classic yellow Micarta ferrule.
The butt itself weighs in at 16.4 ounces on my scale. The shaft comes in at 3.7 ounces...for a total of just a hair over 20 ounces.
The cue is 57" long, not accounting for the tip and bumper. 57.5" in length including bumper and tip.

The butt of the cue is perfectly straight. There's a very slight rollout on the shaft taper (1/16, maybe). The tip never leaves the table when rolled, and it doesn't affect the play of the cue at all.

The cue, from the top of the buttsleeve to the tip is in fantastic condition...only one small finish blemish on one of the points, that I could see. The buttsleeve has 5 small finish blemishes, and the finish is worn on the buttcap. A super easy fix, should you want it to look brand new again.....

Looking for trade offers...but a flat-out purchase is good, too
.
Take a look at the pics, and please PM me with any questions, trades, or offers.

Take care, ya'll.

what is the weight of the cue? Is the cue the standard length. Thanks, Mason

Bump to top...

...Mason's questions are answered in posting above. A couple trades fell through, so thought I'd throw this up one more time before it goes to the E-bay crowd.

Thanks!

could ya gimme a dollar amount in trade you are possibly seeking?
Hiya,

I have 750 into it. The market will bear somewhere around 800-850 for the cue in cash.

That said, I'm looking to get 750-800 in trade for it. Could go up or down, I suppose...if the trade is right. If I trade up, I've got a couple other cues I could throw into the mix for the "RIGHT" cue.

Thanks much,

Mark
