I was playing some 14.1 with an old timer friend of mine the other day. He was telling me about a tournament he went to at Ceasars Palace in Vegas back in the 80's called the World Series Of Tavern Pool. I've done some searches but have not found much of anything on it. Does anybody have any...

I still have the mug they gave me back then , sadly I didn't qualify to go to Vegas but I did better than many others ha ha

Shuput came thru Tulsa not long after winning this. I'd seen his pic in the Billiard News and probably save my buddy his paycheck when i told him don't mess with that cat. Him and his partner Mike Hyland cut a large swath thru the midwest.
