Up for sale is a 1996 Richard Black Custom Shanin 2 that I purchased from Proficient Billiards in May of 2024. My intention was to play with it, but once receiving the cue I could not bring myself to hit with it ...... it is that pristine. The story that I got was that it was in a private collection since originally purchased. Scot Sherbine put a light one coat finish on it to restore it to it's original luster then put the cue up for sale. Description and specs are as follows:

Stained Maple front with Cocobolo floating points and rear with maple windows.
No international travel with this cue ..... all white is the good stuff.
Stainless Steel joint 5/16-14
Everything rolls straight together and apart.
Total length is 59.5"
Butt weight is 14.9, length 29.75
Two original straight grain maple shafts measuring 29.5" / 29.75" - 4.4 / 4.3 oz - 13.18 / 13.17 dia. at the base of the ferrell.
Both shafts have been cleaned, polished, and sealed.
Shafts came with Lepro tips but had a G2 soft installed on one shaft thinking that I was going to hit with it.
Pristine condition, straight out of a collection.
Brand new joint protectors are included.
Purchased from Proficient Billiards with receipt included.
Ready for action right out of the box.

This is a 96 Richard Black cue that has appeared to have seen virtually no play. The cue has been top coat refinished due to some finish settle. Shafts were finished and resealed. The wrap is the original and was repressed. All that is white on the cue appears to be ivory. Butt and shafts are straight together and apart. This cue is ready for action or would make a great addition to a collection.
Weight – 19.6oz and 19.7oz
Shaft diameter – 2 shafts at 13mm w/ivory ferrules and what looks to be LePro tips
Length – 59.5″
