Ok so when I go to onepocket.org and go to the "great shot" section and click on a link to see one of the shots I get a screen that pops up and says "click to run an ActiveX control on this webpage". Regardless if I click ok or not the CueTable doesn’t show up.

I have also had this happen on this forum when people put certain links in there posts. Has this happened to anyone else and if so how do you fix it?

What version of IE are you using, what kind of security do you have (ie are u at a business/school and what's the level of security in the browser settings), and what exactly happens when you click "ok" ?

IIRC, go to the microsfoft website, and install active x. You may just click on run, when it tells you to, been a while, I did this quit a while ago, I think.

So you're probably running IE 6? I'd suggest, like above, making sure ActiveX is installed or try downloading it, but it should come up with a prompt to download it if it's missing. If that doesn't work, I'd go into IE and try going to 'Tools' then 'Internet Options' then click the 'Security' tab and try lowering your level of security or click 'Custom Level' and under 'ActiveX Controls' make sure ActiveX is allowed to run.

If none of this works, you could always goto mozilla.org and download Firefox, which you will most surely have less problems with.

Joe, if you're using IE, I would suggest trying Firefox. I have IE 7 and still use Firefox most of the time. IE 7 STILL has issues of security, etc. and I like Firefox a LOT better.

Dear Joe:

About Active-X Issues

CueTable has always been running great under Internet Explorer until the middle of May 2006. Microsoft has "Updated" their browser and now we all have to activate the Active-X Control when opening any interactive media (including WeiTable and CueTable). This only happens on Internet Explorer browser but not on any other browsers.

We are looking into ways to work around this issue.

Some details regarding ActiveX:
