This weekend my pool playing skills were ok. I'm was pretty happy with my pool strategy.
I gave every player a run for their money. I was playing some good players. But there was one player that I clicked with and that I mostly played with. He was a regular at the bar and he was the # 1 pool player at the bar.
He was much better shot than me and he knew it. At this bar we play last pocket. Even though I'm a terrible shot I totally understand how to play last pocket and this guy knew it. What made it more fun is that he also knew how to play last pocket. There's a difference between aiming for the last pocket rather than knowing last pocket strategy. Last pocket can be compared with chess strategy
It felt real nice to play with someone that knew what I was doing. He was much better than me and he knew it

* when to play a safety
* To pick the harder shot because if I missed the q-ball would be left in the worse position for him.
* or if I couldn't make the shot I would just put my ball by the corner where the rest of my balls were at. Once all my balls were in the corner I could just wait until the right moment.
I won some and lost some. It felt good to win.
My shot also improved. Even though I'm a bad shot my skills and consecration is improving.
