BOTH SOLD I have one long-time-ago ordered, but only recently received, South West for sale:
1. Brand new, unchalked, unhit. Cocobolo points, two veneers (white then brown), excellent curly maple nose, brown phenolic, brown specked wrap, 58", 19 oz. Standard Southwest taper, non-ivory ferrules (to make future overseas sales easier), joint protectors. $3995. SOLD I'll keep going until I find the market price for a new Southwest! New info: exact weight: 19.1 or 19.2 ounces: 15.2 ounce butt, 4.0 and 3.9 ounce shafts.
2. The big one: Also brand new, unchalked, unhit. Cocobolo points, into an extra-special birdseye maple nose (at a serious upgrade cost), triple veneers (white blue black), black phenolic, black specked linen wrap, 58", 19 oz., rings all over the place, standard Southwest taper, non-ivory ferrules, joint protectors. $SOLD New info: exact weight: 19.1 ounces: 15.3 ounce butt, 3.8 and 3.8 ounce shafts.
I can e-mail more details if needed, and have the original box and letters from Laurie with all specs as well.
