Just curious on a type of wood used for a cue in the 2004 www.cuebook.com Cue Calendar. July is the month with Troy Downey Cues pictured. The cue on the far right which is pretty plain ebony with a wrapless area with a brownish wood. Just wondering what the wood is in the wrap location if anyone has a guess? I like the plain design with the nice ringwork. Might have a similar cue made by my local cuemaker. I tried to email Troy at an address that was posted online but have not recieved a response. Thanks!
