Quote:

The most notable winner of the day was India's Pankaj Advani, who beat Marcus Campbell 4-1.

As much as it was a good result it was for Pankaj Advani in front of his home fans for me the most notable result of the day was Anthony Mc Gill 4 V 1 Barry Hawkings.

John Rae etc from The Lucky Break in Clydebank will be proud of that one.

Well done Anthony Mc Gill !:thumbup::D:smile:

Most notable result of the day award

The local heroes good run continues.

Pankaj Advani 4 V 2 Mark Allen.

The local hero over here's good run also continues.

Anthony McGill 4 V 1 Fergal O'Brien.

There were a few contenders for todays award & in a tight photo finish the judges called gave it to Gary Wilson 4 V 3 Marco Fu.

Advani , Mark & Robbie Williams were very close runners up.

Deutsche Marks

Four Of A Kind.

Who would've bet that Mark Joyce , Mark Selby , Mark Allen & Marco Fu would've all lost in round 2 ? If you put that bet on congratulations but many more would've bet those four to win.

Two Marks left are Mark Williams & Mark if your are mark fan it's heads or tail for which one your Deutsche Mark goes onto win outright.

Congratulations to Ding Junhui for taking the title.

Aditya Mehta take a bow sir as you did very well & the runners up cheque means you have the cash for a few more tournament enteries.

Quite a few players had a good tournament results wise & a special mention goes out to Anthony McGill for defeating World Snooker finalist Barry Hawkings.

Adios Amigos ! :D
