Hey guys,

Below is a link for the results from this weekend's qualifier. Jonathan Smith won from the winner's side and Hunter Lombardo won from the loser's side.

The shot of the tournament goes to Hunter Lombardo (there is video on Facebook but a copy has been emailed to Dragon Promotions). In the B-Side finals, Hunter down 92-95, Sean Morgan played safe in a situation where a return-safety was going to be incredibly difficult. Sean ended-up getting a bad kiss on the safe and hanging the 10-ball near the side pocket. With no clear shot and frozen to a ball, Hunter kicked the 10-ball into the side pocket and was rewarded with perfect position to run-out the remaining 7 balls to secure the last qualifier spot.

Thanks for this update, Jude! I wanted so much to play in that qualifier, but the wife and I are housesitting for some good friends, and can't break away.

Sounds like there was some GREAT 14.1 to be seen. Envious of those that got to play and/or spectate. Hopefully the video of the matches themselves can be made available?

Oh wait, we didn't take video of the matches. I simply don't have the right equipment to record matches at length. The video I did get was from my iPhone. It was clear that this shot was going to determine the winner and it was also clearly the right shot to take so I got my phone out and captured the moment.
