It sure feels good to finally win again .. yes I am from the States.

Wanted to say first, that the Rosson table played very differently than the Diamonds I am use to playing on. The cushions were soft and those pockets played big, real big. I am not sure what kind or cloth was used but it was much slower than the Diamonds that we are all used to. Not putting down, or bad mouthing the table, just saying it played very differently. Adjusting to the equipment is what we all have to do on a regular basis, and both players have to play on the same table. Just saying that a big adjustment was necessary.

How about Tyler Styer? Hope I spelled his name correctly, I have never seen him play before and he impressed me greatly. Looks like he doesn't even shave yet and he was cool as a cucumber! I thought it was a great showing for him and foretelling of greater things to come - what a great future he may have!

Hats off to Skyler Woodward. This was the best and most consistent I have ever seen him play. Seems like he's found a new gear and is off to play on a higher level - He was just great!

Appears that the younger American's have hit their stride. The likes of Thorpe, Styer and Woodward, lead by Corey and Shane, could provide some great Mosconi matches in the future.
