I have a 3/8-10 Modified Gulyassy and two guys, customers that have a different 3/8-10 pitch "The peak of the threads are sharp instead of flat. I cant find a specific "Modified" Tap. Will a regular 3/8 10 Tap work for modified taps? I dont see how and like I said I cant find a "Modified" Tap. Any links would be appreciated. My pin has a flat top at the peak of the thread, where as others have a sharp pointed edge at the top of the thread. Haven't seen many pins like mine. Thanx again guys

To add clarity to Mr. Webb's response, it sounds like your G cue uses an Acme thread. Acme thread are not a modified thread, the are a trapezoidal thread pitch that has been used in industry for a century or more. Acme thread are generally a feed thread, though two major uses are in c-clamps and screw jacks.

The common 3/8-10 modified thread in cues is probably not used anywhere else. It is a vee thread, but instead of a 60deg profile, it uses a sharper profile with a minor diameter that creates a flat bottom. I don't miss this thread because some of it makes sense for wood.
