I just got a plain maple cue from Bob Dzuricky today and forgot to ask about joint protectors. anybody have a 1x1 for sale? it only has 1 shaft for now. this is my first cue with a "hoppe ring" at the bottom. the birdseye has good figuring to it. the jp's don't have to be fancy, as long as they are made with nice birdseye. I really think with no inlays whatsoever, this cue hits a ton!! it's one of the most solid cues I've ever played with. there is NO vibration in the butt at all when I hit a ball with it. maybe inlays (points, etc.) weaken the wood just enough to notice a difference. thoughts?

I'd like a set to go with the maple cue in this pic. 1x1 or 1x2 is fine. I'll have a 2nd shaft anyway
