Hey Pete... I've often heard that curly and figured maple often make shafts brittle and easier to warp or break. Is that just rumor or wives tales??

Hello my friend, I honestly don’t know but kielwood is certainly less prone to warping than your standard Canadian maple.

Let me know the weight of the 3/8x10 shafts after receipt as I am looking for 4 oz. KW shafts in 3/8x10 and 3/8 x11.
Hello, sir. I will do my best to provide the weight albeit I do not have a scale presently. I think we reviewed with my last batch and fell short of the 4 oz mark. Happy to let you know.
