30" shaft on Scruggs

Hey all,
I have a 29"/29" Scruggs right now and I'm considering getting a 30" shaft (I'm 6'4"). Would the 30" throw off the balance quite a bit with the Scruggs? Or is that extra inch pretty minimal?. Thanks!

No, it will not move the balance point much at all unless the shaft is very significantly different in weight. Which is very unlikely.

Too minimal. I would try a 4-6" mid cue extension instead. ShortStop on Pool has a video about what he thinks is the proper cue length for tall players:

I'm 6'1" and using SSOPs video and calculations found that a 4" extension was just about right for me. That puts a standard cue at 62" vs the original 58".

I much prefer adding the extra at the end of the cue (Butt extension). I've never liked how mid extensions change the way the cue feels.
A slightly longer shaft usually feels fine though.
