314 5/16x14 on my Joss?

Hi, I was wondering how many of you guys with Joss Cues have a 314 shaft? I was looking at predators sites and saw that for Joss they dont have a shaft that fits, even though the joint on a Joss is a 5/16x14. For those of you that have a 314 on their Joss, was it a good fitment? Im either going to just get teh 5/16 x 14 or the blank and have it custom fitted. Does anyone know how much it costs to get the 314 shaft custom fitted? thanks
 
People I know that plays with Joss butt plays with 314 shafts .. it's a good fit. I justed screwed 314 onto my Joss ... it's all good.

I just screwed mine on and it fits as good as the original shaft did. However, if you are a perfectionist then get the blank and have it matched up perfectly.

Most Joss's now a days uses either siver ring or black joint and the predator shafts I have purchased in the past fit perfect. I would buy one without thinking about it now. Don't spend the xtra dough on a partial fitting unless you have special ring work.
Or, right now OB shafts are on sale and you can get one of them for less and it plays real nice.
 
Just and FYI, I spend not a lot more on a custom joint ring from my cue maker for my 314. I am sure Joss would do the same.
 
When I got my cue last year, I had it sent straight to Mike Webb. He fitted it for a 314, and I got it a few days later. The price was right too I also got a Moori tip. I love it, and think the world of Mike. So I would suggest calling him, and having him do it for you. His # is 1-401-724-4476.

The 5/16x14 Pred will fit your Joss perfectly, no need for a partial.

Btw, my "bar" cue used to be a Joss/Pred combo, and I know several people who shoots with Joss/Preds. Joss makes great hitting cues.

Joss with 314 shafts are common, and play very well. No adjustments necessary for most.
 
thanks guys. i dont have any special ring work just plain black so dont need to worry about that. i think i will just go get the 5/16x14, thanks again
