hehe , no its one of my own designs. the veneers and point wood etc arent the right one's yet, but the design is close to what my next custom would look like. exept the veneers would be coco, ebony with coco or emboya burl points. the wrap will be smooth leather as i dont like to feel to much texture when i hold my cue. the buttwindow is maple veneer, coco or burl window and a holy window or so. no idea yet. i cant use ivory as it wouldnt be shipable to europe then..
the blender prog is cool, but if u would change the design (from for example 4 pts to 6high and 6 low points... unless u know how to draw in 3d, ur kinda screwed. or if u want persenolised inlays..) ah well, ill change my pics a bit later when i got time to find my other pc and we'll see then.
i could make a compostition of different pics and safe it in a high resolution poster format, so u can print it in any good printingshop in big size paper and hang it in your home-poolhall with all the pics, details , weight, dimensions,etc.. i know i will do this for all my cue's, and hang it on my wall.
i never gave a thought about fee's, so how does this sound? i dont want to be exploiting people here, are make a living of it, but it takes time to construct all the points, windows etc so they align exactly are straight etc, and i just want something back for the time i invest in drawing it.
how about:
basic cue (wrap or wrapless, max 4 points and 2 veneers, basic ring) : 20$ + 5$ for changes made afterwards in material choice etc.
medium cue (wrap or wrapless, max 8 points and 4 veneers, medium ringwork and butt inlays): 30$ + 5$ for changes made afterwards in material choice and inlays-
advanced cue (wrap or wrapless, any design in forearm and butt, complicated inlays and ringwork, etc): 40$ + 10$ for any changes mader afterwards in inlays, veneers, points, etc..
the prices include as many pictures as you want, for an extra 10$ u could get the poster idea i talked about earlyer that will be made in fotoshop and will be pritty sweet
this is just an idea, and is fair seeing the amount of time that is needed to draw the cue's. does this sound anything fair?
