Here in the Albany NY area there is a Brunswick Gold Crown 5x10 table for sale. This table is unique in that it comes with both sets of rails for conversion from a 3 cushion table to a pocket billiards table and it even has the ball return runners and box with it. This table is in great shape. If interested please just I'M me and i will provide you with all the contact information. If i had the room in my house it would have already been gone. So if anybody loves both games and cannot afford 2 tables. this is your answer.........................mike

no. a snoooker table is a 6x12 i believe. this is a 3 cushion billiard table that can also be used for pool if you just change the rails............mike

5x10? Is it a snooker table?

pool tables are properly 5X10. I never got to play on one of those unfortunately. Some hung on in big city rooms for a while. the 4.5X9 was a shrunk down table.

My friend was interested in finding some 10' rails with pockets to convert his billiard table (3-C) into a pool table. Any ideas on where to find some rails that will fit, or a company that could fabricate some?

You could possibly take 10' snooker table rails. And put cushions on those and have them cut like Pool pockets. You might have to do some modifying to the pocket holes to make them wider.

To do that you can take a sketch of a regular table pocket. With the pocket out. Then take that sketch and connect your end rail and side rail. I'd put all the rails on and tighten them down to make sure everything is right. Then lay your sketch down and trace with a marker around the sketch. And cut the extra wood off.

Your cushions come longer than the rail and I think should be able to match up. But measure it to be sure.

I think Peter Vitalie makes snooker tables still and they have excellent finishes to them.
