I am in the process of negotiating on a 6x12 Burroughes & Watts snooker table for my personal use. I am very experienced in pool table installs (15+ yrs fulltime) but I'm wondering what differences I will run into installing this big monster? I am interested to hear from very experienced snooker installers only please. Thanks, "Tableman"

Well, I'm going to answer any way!LOL

I am absolutely positive you will have no problem with this one. Just a couple of differences that i have encountered are that certain snooker tables use the floating slate method which is unusual if you have never seen it before. Not sure about B&W. Really work on getting that frame really, really level before setting slates.

Snooker cloths that i have normally used are directional and are applied in a certain fashion, even on the rails.

Markings on the snooker table if you are going to play snooker. I have a 9 foot snooker but only play pool so i do not have the traditional markings.
We purchased our D templates but easy enough to make one.

Bring good help,it is a monster for sure. You will most likely find 5 pieces but 5 very heavy pieces.
