7 ft Diamonds coin-op vs hourly?

Classic Billiards in Portland, OR is adding 3 new Diamond 7 footers and, according to Glen's recent post, they'll be there soon. I talked to Paul at Classic a couple weeks ago and he said he's getting Pro Ams instead of the coin-op Smart Tables and will rent them by the hour. Seems like a cool idea to me. I can think of some advantages right away. I'd like to know how common this is, and what players that play on 7 footers would prefer. Thanks.

Well, I don't know but I like it. I think last summer when we were there last summer all tables were by the hour. I hope they are not getting rid of the 6x12 snooker table to make room for them.

As far as I know they are keeping the 6x12.
