i played in 711 (the address) broadway with the greats evans bob the widowmaker mayers jersey red (a johnney come lately backthen) flooney cosmo etc and in ames a recent arrival 43rd off broadway southeast therefrom nowhere near the talent of 711 but johney irish did play there mcgirrs had the bigger money games pimp joint perhaps but this is/was new york love it or leave it i'm curious about how 711 (UPSTAIRS FROM THE HONNEYMOON DIME A DANCE BALLROOM sorry for the caps got started anyone know the history? i also played a bit in o'brian's on 23rd street a great hall saw willy hoppe give an exhibition - wow
