8-ball drills

I've been working on a book manuscript about learning to play pool better in a practical, fun (not boring drills), efficient way. Since I don't think I'm going to be able to get it finished anytime real soon I wouldn't mind sending you a copy of what I got if you would cover the printing and shipping costs.

My manuscript has over 100 different pool games with rules and diagrams. The games were developed to really challenge a player and develop their skills. It also has listing of games by ability levels, difficulty, skills developed, number of players, ect..

Playing thru the games really helped me jump my game to the next level.

If you or anybody is interested please let me know.

Drills...

I recently purchased the Pro Skills Drills Pack, DVD and Small Ring Bound Booklet...you can lay it out on the table for setup and how the drills work...there are 54 increasingly difficult drills included...good stuff...and pretty challenging too...check the site, they have some video examples of the drills being executed...

I like the drill Joe Tucker calls brainwash. I've heard it called nitro as well (can't remember where.)

Scatter all 15 balls at random. Leave all balls at least 6 inches apart and 6 inches off the rails. Rules are that the cueball cannot touch anything but the intended object ball. No banks, caroms, billiards, or combinations. Last but not least the cueball cannot touch the rail.

If you really want it congested you can pack quite a few of those 15 balls into one half of the table.

You get ball in hand, and you should spend a good 5-10 minutes planning your runout of all 15 balls.

Good Luck!
