8' Gandy Improvements

i just bought an 8' Gandy for fifty bucks. the table is nice but i did notice however that the frame is held together on the ends with smalish wood screws. i was wondering if you mechanics have any advice for improving the table's structural integrity prior to setting up?

PRE DRILL a undersized hole and use a lag bolt, 2-1/2 or so long

your replacing the wood screws with lag bolts.
