9-Ball Banks Question?

The other night we were playing 9 ball banks and a curious thing happened. A called ball jawed in the called pocket and the cue ball came back around and tapped the ball in. We weren't sure if it counted, so I said it has to go in clean. No kisses. caroms. or combos. What say you all?

You were totally correct. Clean is clean. Technically, that would be a kick shot, even though the obj was hit first, I'd say. You just moved the obj to a place where the cue could kick it in

I had a similar question last week, where I banked a 5 up table and back towards the corner, and drew the cue ball back to clear a 1 from the pocket before the 5 could get there. It would have been legal, but I just wasn't good enough to make the bank, haha.
