World Standardization Rules for 9 ball state: (effective date: 1-1-2006)
5.3 ORDER OF BREAK
Winner of the lag has the option to break. In 9-Ball, the winner of each game breaks in the next, unless otherwise specified by the tournament organizer. The following are common options that may be designated by tournament officials in advance:
(a) Players alternate break.
(b) Loser breaks.
(c) Player trailing in game count breaks the next game.
My question is: Have any of you played in a tournament or a money match, where Option C was chosen for the match. I would assume when
2 players are tied, the previous game's winner would then break. This seems like a pretty good option to me, maybe even better than A or B.
I also want to make note that: www.TexasExpress.com is no longer a
good working website name. Anyone know why?
