I bought a 9ft. table in January. I have been playing 3-4 hour a day since March. I hadn't played in 12 years. My game improved quickly and then slowed. But now my improvement appears to bring much better results.

When I started again I was happy to run a rack. Now I am running 5-10 a week and have a strong feeling that the next level of progress may not be big, but the results will result in more run racks. Has this happen to anyone else or is better results generally slow and steady?

It seams that if you improve from running to the six or seven frequently, it doesn't take alot more to start running out frequently.

Everyone's progresses differently however in general you should find that your improvement comes at a slow and steady rate. There will be occassional jumps but nothing massive. You will go through slumps now and then but it's part of the learning process.

You will not however jump a level and half over night.
