9 ball with bowling style scoring....

Glad to hear it guys. Good shooting.

Taking ball in hand after the break because you are kind of playing rotation against the ghost here.

If you make the ten on the break, or in a combo, just leave it down and run the rest In order. That's the way I've been doing it. It certainly could be made tougher if you want.

Edit... Crap, I meant 10 ball in the title! I asked mod to change thread title.

I posted about this a long time ago, but since so many people with tables have time on their hands these days, I issue this challenge...

Play standard 10 ball. Break the rack. Take ball in hand... just like playing ghost. If you break and run, you get a strike. If you miss a shot, or get into a situation where the run out isnt possible, take ball in hand. If you run the rest of them, it's a spare. And of course it's an open frame if you fail in two tries. Enter top of frame and bottom of frame totals. Then go to next frame.

My best this last week was 197. It's kind of fun and passes the time. 13 racks shouldn't take some of you guys that long. Or only 10 racks if you fail to strike or spare in the 10th. Obviously you have to break and run 3 games in the 10th for a perfect score. Would love to hear if someone does get a 300!

This is a fun game, a group of guys get together on Sundays in my area and we play this often. We were actually thinking of doing a league with it since it's pretty easy for new players to play, I mean it's straight pool with 10 balls, can't get much easier for a new player, and not too hard to handicap.
