A better way to look at it.

A lot of people are discussing who was picked and who wasn't but it is really not that important when you consider two of the four tournaments, the biggest by the way, have open entry. Add to that the selected player do have to pay $199. to play and have all the other expenses that the other players have. Also the first invitational tournament if you were not one of the selected players you still have to attend which depending where you are coming from will cost a $1000. or more and you may not even want to come but are told you have to. Having to pay a $1000. entry fee to play in the open tournaments is small potatoes really for a chance the be involved. Anyone know if there will be a limit for entries, they might get a few thousand players wanting to play.

I have a "hunch" that the people that do not get to play but are required to attend will be taken care of in some way when they arrive.......

Since pretty much all of the people that do not get to play but are required to attend are made up of the "non-obvious" of the selections....I wonder if this is a "test" of some kind to see how many of these people are really serious about the tour and willing to show up...Based on the track record so far...I would not be surprised if the non playing players that do show up get rewarded in some way...

If I was a "non selected" (aka snubbed) player that truely felt deserving of being selected and was in the proximity or had the means, I would make the effort to at least make an apperance to show support and hopefully add some positive reinforcement that I had a true desire to be on that tour...

I also would not be surprised to see some no-shows dropped from the list of 150 and a few alternates selected to take their place....

I am sure that KT and DA will be there...and a simple 30 second hand shake and a introduction of oneself might go a long way.......I am not saying to show up and be a kiss ass...but a well presented introduction may at least get your name recognized down the road..

Worst case senario is you can wright it off on your taxes as a business expense since you have applied and are making pool your profession...
