how about, inventing a shaft, which has a slight little site, like a gun on top for aiming. it could be used to show students how to hit the cue ball in the dead center. also, to show people exact draw. beginers tend to not hit low enough, when asked to hit below center. this shaft, will be proof.

Or even better, inventing a shaft with a laser light coming out of the end of it for laser accuracy!

Hate to break the news to you two, but I think the market has already been tapped! There is a training cue out there with a laser on it!

I've seen this for sale on Ebay. The one I remember had the laser actually coming out of the middle of the tip. Have you played with this thing? It might be a cool training tool, of it could (more likely) be a junk gimick. Anybody have one?

Hey Zim, is there any movement on an AZ tournament?

Have seen it in use. It's pretty stupid. Think about it. If the laser is in the middle of the tip, what does the laser point at when you actually line up a shot? That's right, the cue ball. It doesn't help you sight anything unless you take the CB out of the way.

What I thought was that it would tell you how strait your stoke is. If the laser stays in one spot on the cueball during your practice strokes you have a very strait stroke, eh? Instant feedback, as it were.
