A nice find

I was thinking to pick up a KW shaft, and I still might in the future - mainly for the fact that I bump, bruise and batter solid maple - the more I take care, the more I notice... (though these don't affect play, and make it recognizable as mine... If I had to name a positive). Carbon feels, sounds and plays horrible to me, so I was enticed by the KW durability and the fact it feels and sounds like wood.

Anyway, whilst contemplating ordering a custom one, I did the usual searches and exploration on Xianyu, and I managed to find myself another ILC Monster shaft running at a ridiculously nice price, correct weight and 3/8x11 as required. I had one Wavy jointed for my old Mezz, and it was honestly the cleanest, crispest Solid Maple shaft I have hit. Looking forward to trying it out when I get home from work.

So, I will test it out when I get home, will probably keep it either way as I can sell it for more than I am paying for it. Not sure whether it will or won't replace the main player. But happy to have a potential back up shaft. Just wanted to share some stoke :)

Yes, I mailed him, and he was prompt and supplied the information I needed. In the future I might go that way. But right now, I am stoked on finding another ILC shaft at the price I have. Sometimes things come out of the blue (life's not always doom and gloom)
