A T.V show that would have been better than The Hustlers

Fantastic idea. I would like it to be like a documentary series and not a "reality" show with "added money".

As cool as I think it would be, no advertisers will back gambling, fights and gun play. If you can't advertise, no show. I also don't think many gamblers are going to line up to be on camera..... Voluntarily.

This show becoming popular would be a great way to keep people out of pool halls.
 
As somebody simply wanting entertainment, Scott's show would be far more interesting for me. But, as somebody that would like pool to be considered a legitimate sport, I doubt it would be very good for the promotion of pool players as athletes.
Too many average Joe types think of either thugs and hustlers, or league bangers when they think of pool.

I would have enjoyed watching Scott's show. He referred to this in his February 6, 2014 interview on American Billiard Radio. At the 89 minute mark he says he is starring in a show that will come out "soon".

It's an interesting interview where he talks about becoming demoralized with pool, announcing his retirement, and a few months later deciding to get back into pool. The episode also features Justin Collett and Emily Duddy.
