about Cue Smith Tapering Machine?

The parts for the tapering machine are all almost machined. Best guess is it will take about 3 months to get one if ordered now. I still have 30 other machines on order ahead of any machines ordered today.

What is the price going to be for the tapering machine?

I am thinking it will be $2795 introductory price. It is set up for more commercial duty use than the tapering part on my Deluxe Cue Smith is. The tailstock slides on our normal dovetail bed, but the carriage has ball bearing movement on hardened steel ways. The spring loaded bottom slide for the taper bars is also ball bearing movement and the main motor and lead screw motors are both DC variable speed motors. It really is a nice machine. The shaft taper bar is removable so you can add more shaft taper bars set up for different tapers. The machinists have been slowly getting my parts ready for 6 months. Hopefully they will finish soon.
