Efren Reyes is so called: toothless....
Do anyone know the story why he has no tooth ?
 
must have lost them all when he was a child? probably from eating too much candies and chocies? just a wild guess...

I have Efren's pics when he was young around 20 y/o. He smile with spotless white tooth. He take this pic when he in philippines his country.

So i am very curious what happen to him after that. It must have a story about why they fell out.........Maybe was hit by somebody or.........
 
Gum disease of course.
Efren has never used the dental floss in his life.
Tooth loss is very common in Asia. Asians are not fond of drinking milk.
Efren had all of his teeth pulled out right after the 1995 US Open. His teeth was killing him all throughout that tournament.
He had false teeth made he but does not wear it.
He did wear it for the cover of B and D magazine when he was named player of the year.
 
He sold his teeth to the devil in return for playing like a titan. Too bad the devil cheated him on a break.

Kinda like a magazine story I read many years ago. Willy Jenkins (I believe) was the character that traded body parts to the devil to improve his game. Sumthin’ like eyeteeth was traded for the best ever break. Another body part for some other improvement and so on. Eventually, the last trade for the ultimate game ended up being too great (said the devil). But Willy insisted and begged the devil at any price. The moral of the story was that nothing was worth losing your head over.
