WAGS You say: the BCA Organization was the one that put the State organizations AND the players on the spot. There was no consultation with the state entities on the sale
Fact: The owner of BCA pool Leagues the BCA Trade Association sold it to the new owner Mark Griffin. It had a right too. And Mark Griffin was awarded the right to purchase it in a legal bid. If not why no law suit then. The situation is like this you buy a bike with your saved up allowance and the bully in the neighborhood want your bike he convinces others bully friends to support him then and go around saying that bike is not yours it is his.. How can you say that the kid who bought the bike caused the problem. Did we have to ask the bullies if it was ok to buy the bike first.
You Say: The state organizations wanted to talk of a sale of the organization to them and no response was given by the BCA. : Mark Griffin knew that when he purchased that the states were/are unhappy with how the sale was handled and the no response from the BCA and also no effort on Griffin's part to contact the states BEFORE he made the purchase
Fact : Which state associations wanted to talk about the sale. My association didn’t. Most of the league operators didn’t know about any of this until after the purchase. How could they talk about what they didn’t know. Some associations have not even voted as of yet on there position. My association EX-President lent his creditable to ACS way back when and lied about it. My association president knew what was going on way before any of us and didn’t tell us. He now works for ACS. He kept it from us. Why?? But none of the state association presidents had any approval from the state association members for the aligning with the ACS prior to the sale and before any of us could weigh out the issues, Why?? These people never had any formal support. They did it on their own. They didn’t represent anyone but themselves. You can talk to any of the ACS Board members and they will tell you they did not have the approval of their state association members. “I have this on videotape from an ACS meeting in Vegas”.
What states were unhappy at Mark Griffin most of my area league operators are happy about it. We see that there can be an improved situation. States were not mad at Mark Griffin a select few tried to convince us that the other states were all on board. That was a lie. They tried to say it was a bad thing well it was not. They made it sound that something was going to change in a for profit league, most of the reasonable and intelligent people saw through those points of propaganda. A for profit is more efficient. Anyone who know Mark even acs people will say he is a great guy.
Many people initially bid were each of them suppose to tell you they bid and why?? The people were aware of the situation, were namely all the current ACS board members as far back as November and maybe before that. Why did they not try to inform us all when things were going to develop…no they just let it go…I know why?
You Say: The states did tell the BCA exactly what their intentions were if the BCA league system was sold, to form a new organization
Fact: I am a state association Board member we said nothing we didn’t discuss it until after sale. States said nothing to the BCA only a select few people did and without any authority. This self acclaimed group of un-elected ACS people went out on there own they tried to give the appearance that all states supported them they were threatening a coup. A coup is what this is. Trying to take the bike away from the kid who bought it is wrong. That’s what did the harm, is this group going out to prove a feeble point. The BCA trade association made some mistakes but they didn’t create the splitting of players it is from the spin that ACS has done.
Sorry you should know your facts/history before you (as you say it) "post on this Board" .well ....that just makes you look, well, kinda ……….quaint
