Hello ,

I seen some nice looking cases and they Action brand. Are they decent hard cases. They look nice , would they offer decent protection for just say home use to store a cue. Do they hold up ok. I know Action dies a lot for APA league. Thanks

I doubt your action case will hold up to a steamroller bunny hopping on top of it. I bought one and took it apart and the innards are just not at the proper level. If you send your cue (for good luck) with astronauts exploring alpha Centauri and it’s strapped outside the ship in your action case, it’s most likely gonna suffer some damage.

Action doesn’t even put a (patented) Radiation Protection Layer in their cases! And do they offer an auto-thermal temp management system to keep the tubes at exactly 72 F be you in the midst of a nuclear winter or hiking the surface of Venus?

Action doesn’t care if you want to go deep sea diving with your cue strapped to your back. I’ve never seen one case from action able to stay dry and maintain structural integrity at 967 Bar.

If you want a case for soft use then by all means...if you want to explore the cosmos with your pool cue, and be ready for action at a moments notice..action just won’t make the cut.

I have an action case, it’s nice lol. I throw it into my car often and nothing ever seems to get banged around in it.

This is all pretty funny. My oldest case is an Action. Years ago I used a stencil and spray painted my name in one inch letters across the case. And every now and then I pick up a sticker at SBE that goes on the case.

It's guady or maybe ugly. Anyway no one looks at or ****s with the case and what's in it. It's a Sneaky Pete case. I love that. I have a very expensive custom leather case, it's never left home.

The best safety for your cue is a case nobody would even look at.

I also travel with an aluminum tube fishing rod type case when on long motorcycle tours. No one thinks much of that either. Plus you always have a baseball bat type weapon available. Ya never know.

I just got the case cheap and it seems like a nice case . I also got a Nick Varner case that is really nice. It is a 2/4 but the shafts go in a separate zip in the back, I seen were Elite makes a case identical to it for about $100 more than I paid for the Varner case. I just wanted a case to store a cue in the closet with and I thought it would be we'll enough for it .
