Action rooms in Philly?

What rooms can I go to for action in Philly?

Which are the best ones? Are they safe?
 
wait tell next month and go to valley forge and there will be tons of action...
 
Family fun center in Feasterville...the Fuscos room....any action you can afford

Drexeline in Drexelhill .......great room....ask for Florida Bob....he plays a little

Tacony billiards....near the Tacony bridge.....I know nothing about the room, but I know there is action there.

I cant say what is safe or not......its all relative IMO

I know you'll find one pocket action there.

I've played there on every trip to Philly. I never felt unsafe.
 
Drexelline has no action. Tacony has action, however, has been a long time since I was there. I will say that I felt the strong urge to put my cash in my sock or something when I would go.

Your best bet is probably Fusco's room "The Spot". While I haven't been there, I used to frequent his old room quite a bit. Never had any trouble there. The new room is in a safe area, about 20 mins. outside the city. Just down the road from his old room.

I work in Philly everyday...it's funny to hear an outside perspective of the local joints. I can't argue with how you should feel, but know some people who play there and I don't think ever felt unsafe. But, I guess they do know the environment there.

who are the champions there that i should stay away from besides eddie abraham and josh brothers?
 
The action has been dead in Philly since Jim Hill went bust and Mike Lebron stopped bringing the Phillipino's around. In the mid 1990's Tacony was one of the best daytime spots in the country. Not anymore. During the daytime you have about 25 B plus one pocket players who will only bet $25 with the dead nuts. You can only get one pocket action. There is only about four A to semi pro players in the area. They are the only ones who will play nine ball. I don't give out names but if you come to town you will find out fast. One piece of advice, do not go there at night!

The Spot is Pete Fusco's room. You can get safer action there.

Just don't go there with NY GIANTS,NY METS or NY YANKEES gear on if you value your life.And also NY RANGERS.Its the city of love[only our teams]
