Adam Cue Help

Hey folks, I bought this old Adam cue in a pawn shop the other day for $45. Shaft was dirty and no bumper. The only thing that impressed me was the shaft is dead straight. Unusual for an old cheep cue. I also have never seen one with the name on the forearm. Any information about the cue would be appriciated. I instruct a lot of beginners who not only don't have a cue, but also don't have much money. I have cleaned it up on the lathe, trimed the tip, cleaned up the shaft, and put on a bumper. I am sure it will make a nice cue for one of them. Thanks, Don P.

My first cue was an Adams that I paid $50 for about 25 years ago. I loved it. I don't even remember what happened to it but I do remember thinking it was a helluva cue at the time. :D

WOW - you have got to be kidding me!

I own that exact same cue!

It was given to me by my grandfather. :D :D :D

I have wanted info on it too. The wrap is pretty cool. I had an ivory ferrule installed on it.

If you want to sell it cheap, I will gladly take it off your hands, that cue is like a family heirloom, and I don't like using it because of that reason, and I would love one I wouldn't have to worry about.
