I was trying to figure out what there old John Spencer model might be worth. Online research led to some old English snooker forums which said Adam made their snooker cues in Canada.

Anyone here ever heard of an Adam cue of any kind bekng made in Canada?

I’m pretty sure they weren’t made in Canada.
...although a lot were made of Canadian maple.
I had a lot in stock in the early 90s...many signatures...some were Spencer.
...any ones I have left would be the ones where the shafts are crooked.

The model is what Taylor won the ‘86 world title with...I think his was ash

Thanks for the reply.

From the pictures, this has looks of a snooker cue except the length looks like carom "short stout" and the wood joint too

The Adam line of snooker cues were marketed by BCE.....
...originally Bristol Coin ?....became known as Billiard Cues of England....
The design was attributed to Richard Helmstetter, who, early in his career, was a carom
cue maker...hence the wood screw.

Here is John Spencer with one of the cues he was contracted to use by BCE
