Fatboy,
I have lurked on here for some time now and have just recently signed up.
First off congratulations on the article in BD, the sport could use more like you. I have a large billiard collection and it does bother me, a little, that the industry is in the state it is. When you look back through the ages, billiard players were highly regarded and were able to live very comfortably.
I am from Canada and grew up playing snooker. As a kid, I always dreamt of having my own snooker table. My dream was fulfilled about 8 years ago, when I finished refurbishing a Burroughes & Watts that dates back to the 1800's. I am just curious, being from the States, and I presume not having much contact with a 6x12, what made you decide to purchase one? I will say that your game on smaller tables will pick up a couple of notches.
