I not sure if this is the correct forum to ask these questions so direct to one more appropriate forum if you feel necessary.
I did a search and can't find the answer to these two questions so bear with me. What causes billiard balls to yellow and is there any way to reverse the yellowing effect? I'm guessing it has a bit to do with their composition along with a less than ideal enviroment. Thanks again.

The "patina" from my expierence its just from air and the atmosphere that gives them the yellowish hue, as far as reversing...in my younger days try to polish the crap out of them and just made the yellow more shiny...

time for a new set.
